SUGA releases his new solo album "D-DAY"

Who is SUGA?

SUGA is one of the seven members of BTS, the most successful K-pop group in the world. Besides being a talented rapper and dancer, he is also a sought-after producer for other artists such as Psy, Ømi and Jung Kook ¹ . He releases his solo albums under the name Agust D ^{1 2} .

What is "D DAY"?

"D-DAY" is SUGA's new solo album out April 21, 2023 ^{1 2} . It is his first official solo album and the conclusion of a trilogy he started with the mixtapes Agust D (2016) and D-2 (2020) ^{1 2} . SUGA wrote and produced all of the songs on the album ^{1 2} . The first single from the album will be released on April 7, 2023 ^{1 2} .

SUGA's musical journey

SUGA has always had a passion for music. He started out as an underground rapper in his hometown of Daegu and was discovered by Bighit Music in 2010. Since then he has been an important part of BTS and has co-written and produced many of their hits. He has also developed his own musical identity as Agust D, expressing his personal experiences and thoughts in his solo albums.

SUGA's solo world tour

Besides his new album, SUGA has another surprise for his fans: He will start his first solo world tour in April and May 2023 ^{1 2} . He will perform under both names, SUGA and Agust D, and will perform songs from both BTS and his solo albums.
